Dear Amy,
You asked me to send you this info so it could be entered in both lists (Masters and Chaplaincy). I have completed the course work for both the M. in Ministry and the Chaplaincy program. I was ordained by ULC in January of 2011. I have spent much of my life helping others in both volunteer and paid positions and decided last year that being a Chaplain is what I want to do during my remaining years. This last year I have been acting as an unofficial chaplain accompanying people I know to hospitals who were having invasive procedures and major operations, staying with their families, visiting them later and continually checking on them until they recovered. During these times I provided both moral and spiritual support. I have also provided spiritual comfort for others I met while in the hospital. In August, I intend to start volunteering at two hospice centers as a Chaplain. The courses I have completed are: Master of Chaplaincy Studies, Master of Comparative Religion, Master of Metaphysics, Master of Paganism, Master of Wiccan Studies, Master of Religious Philosophy, Master of Mystical Christianity, Master of Spirituality, Master of Metaphysical Healing and Doctor of Spiritual Development. I am a Reiki Master and have been practicing Reiki since early 1994. Mary McGar
